The entrance is the first thing customers touch and the part of the building that works hardest. Prestine Glass Solutions installs glass and aluminum entry doors for shops, restaurants, offices, clinics and residential building lobbies across Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland.
We help you pick the right setup for the opening: single or pair of doors, sidelites and transom, the stile width, the closer and the hardware. Then we measure, order and install it, and adjust it so it swings and latches properly from day one.
The standard commercial entrance: aluminum stiles with safety glass, single or pairs.
Fixed glass beside and above the door, framed to match.
Closers, pivots and handles chosen for how busy the entrance is.
A busy entrance needs a door heavy enough to take the traffic, hung on pivots or hinges rated for that weight, with a closer sized to the door. Accessibility matters too: we talk through door width, threshold height and opening force so the entrance works for everyone who uses it. Glass in doors and sidelites is always safety glass, and we confirm whether insulated glass is needed for the space behind it.

For new construction and tenant build-outs we work from your drawings or measure the finished opening, and line the install up with your schedule. For an existing building we can swap the old entrance for a new one and plan the work so the building is not left open.
